This reminds me of one I found that turned out to have been "recoated" or whatever its called. Super shiny is a dead giveaway.

The images are far too dark - it doesn't look re-plated, but it does look like MD on the date to me so far. (need much better images please)

to the CCF the 4 is just some grease on the die.

I think this would be called DDD. Kind of like the 1955 pour man's double. Gives another what looks like doubling behind the numbers.

DDD is seen on the Zinc cents. This is a steel cent with a zinc coating. So it would be either die wear or as mentioned a filled with grease die issue. I agree with the grease theory as that digit is wider/taller than normal. Just what we would see on a grease filled error. Looks like TRUST is also showing the same issue.
