ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19150 Posts	Posted 04/25/2023 07:17 am At this point, the obverse is showing a combination of Die Deterioration, and perhaps light damage from an old school mechanical vending machine (vicinity of LI). With Die Deterioration, the obverse could be considered an early stage 1955 'poor man's doubled die'...hint of 'doubling' with the last 5 in 55. Reverse is curious, perhaps the result of a grease-clogged die. Report this Post to the Staff
