Between the glare and closeness of the pics, I cannot tell.

Bentpenny, What attribution number? A few too many photos. Too much glare.Out of focus. John1

I think it is "glare doubling" from your very close-up scope photos, along with some DDD. I see this a lot when looking at shiny new cents. Look at it from different light angles and you will probably see it go away.

I'm not sure of your lighting setup, or maybe it's raw from the factory. But with my scope, I cut out a donut shape from a sheet of white paper and taped it to my ring light around the lense to defuse the light. Also if yours comes with it, mine has two flexible goose neck lights. I cut out round circles out of white paper and taped those to cover them for the same reason. It helps a little bit. FYI, those goose neck lights get very hot. I always make sure to turn them off when I'm not around, so they don't catch the paper on fire.

I also use my fingers and sometimes an empty coin flip over the coin on all directions to manipulate the lighting, blocking out the light on different sides of the coin to show the doubling or possible doubling better.

can't make much of those pics, overmagnified and too large, for better results stick with the board recommended 800x800 pixels or thereabout

@bent: Your pictures are good enough to see Die Deterioration Doubling. ( DDD will present itself on the side of the devices that are closest to the rim) Looking at Liberty - you can see the 'doubling' on the left side of it. On the date, you can see it on the right side of it. On true doubling it will present in the same direction (left/right, CCW/CW) not both
