So, now that I have finally completed the small cent run, I am concentrating on re stocking and improving my large cents. I am likely never owning a chain reverse, but wreath and up is doable. So that the next goal. As full a run of ALL cents as I can mange. These are the latest 6 I have added to the group.

Sweeet goal @smo. Putting together a full date/mintmark run of all US cents would be quite an accomplishment. Back when I was actively working toward this same goal, I got pretty close, with only three large cents missing (two of the three from 1793--including a chain cent, plus the 1799) and one small cent missing (1856). It was tons of fun though and I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress!

Nice. I, coincidentally, am working on a large cent collection as well. I hope to go back to 1793 and will hopefully accomplish my goal within a couple of years. Will see how that goes. Great acquisitions you have so far! Edit: I may end up doing a type set for the older coins.

They are a great set to work on, a lot of fun. I am only 6 short, unfortunately 3 of those are tough, 1793 Liberty cap, 1799 and 1804!

Good luck, one of the most difficult sets I ever attempted, with all the different varieties. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, let me be clear. This is an attempt at a date run. NOT all the varieties. LOL I will get as many as I can, but thats not the goal here. I was unaware of how expensive the 1799 was until you guys mentioned it. So, it will be a straight run from 1800. LOL With as many older ones as I can muster.

Yep, with all varieties it would be absolutely impossible, never been done and never will. I just went with a Littleton album, that has date and major types and that's more than I can handle! I did get a very low grade chain cent and wreath cent, but that 1793 Liberty cap just isn't going to happen, or the 1799. I hope I can manage an 1804 but time will tell!

Great additions - can I ask where you got them? (I need a few for my 7070 album)
