I know there are campfire coins but this coin doesn't seem to be bubbled so I'm not sure what it is can anyone help.

You're on the right track. The coin has been exposed to high heat (could have been a campfire) that started to melted the clad layers and caused them to separate partly from the core. This left the lumpy surfaces when the coin cooled.

Also agree with the above. From the look of the one spot to the left of the ship on the reverse I'd say that someone took a torch to it.
