Th3ch0s3n0ne, welcome to the community!
I'm new to numismatics (coin collecting), too. I have found dozens of these types of events, especially on dimes! I just found a "run" of die chips on the reverse of 2023 dimes on the oak branch (the one to the right of the torch), with each successive dime having a larger chip on it. Are they worth anything? Eh, you might be able to get a buck or two on
ebay for a really big die chip, but it's not anything particularly special or valuable. From what I've gathered in the 4-6 weeks of digging into coins, most will tell you to spend coins with die chips like every other regular dime. Personally, if I can find a run like the one I found today, I keep them as a fun example of how die wear occurs and how long it takes for the quality control experts at the mint to catch it.

If it's interesting to you, keep it. If it's not worth it, don't. You can try your luck on
ebay, or toss it in the discard pile and keep searching. I collect with my son, and he and I like finding all sorts of oddities. Most of them are "worthless", but the time spent together is priceless.
Happy hunting!
