I was wrong. Here is another with the same obverse die crack. So the question is whether the other scratches (R to nose then across the hair, two across the neck) are enough for a Details grade.

Good find kbbpll - wonder what it sold for in 2017?
$2500? (my guess)
I still think the one that started this post could go to 63 as these are so rare, no less than 62 imho

That one went for $1880 including BP back in 2017. Found another one in an earlier die state as well.

Even though this one looks a little nicer it's also graded MS63 and went for 2760US in 2008.

So apparently despite being odd looking it really is a die crack. I'd still grade the original one at MS63.

I'm veering off topic but perhaps of interest, here is a much earlier die state. The crack is only in the corner of the bust. My personal example is this die state. If I noticed it before, I didn't ID it as a crack. I learned something new!

This die has a distinctive polish line from the E through the tip of G to the bust. You can see it in the OP image, and the one I posted here and above. Below is a zoom of another example, before the formation of the crack.

I don't think the rim issues would get an error designation. Check yours for a die clash at the top of the nose - mine has it and I'd think every coin showing the die crack would also have it. These things add interest (to me) but not value.
