Really don't know what to make of this one. Surely lamination peel going on but the raised portion by rim almost looks like a V or half a W. It does appear some metal movement may have occured pushing/moving inside rim which in turn knocked the last leg of the W south.

Thoughts?

Thx Dearborn, so called a fold over when that rim got hit. Assume all PMD?

No, I do not think it is PMD here. The lamination went right up to the rim where part of the lam got folded back over on itself.

I trust Dearborn on his observation but it looks like glue. Same glue stuff is between WE and TR that is on W.

The lam has an edge, it is surely lifted/separated. Hard to tell without coin in hand I know, but not surface material.

Your coin looks like a lamination. I've got lamination on a 1973 D reverse.

Aftering taking another closer look under scope, I see the LAM almost goes rim-to-rim. Not fully lifted but wraps around ear, behind lobe, and then almost straight down thru front of shoulder to 6:30ish.
