As I stated on the 2002 Lincoln, I do not look for errors and only pick out what looks obvious. This one was also pulled from a Loomis roll last year. It was posted in another thread and was buried. Pretty sure this one is a die crack with Cuds.

For numismatic purposes, Cuds are associated with rims. Given the somewhat soft photo posted, I believe were looking at abbreviated linear plating bubbles passing through the date. What does the reverse look like?

Here is my listing on COC. I have found 25 or 30 of these in various die stages. It's a very nice die crack/break. UDC-1c-2019-01 http://cuds-on-coins.com/udc-1c-2007/ Here are three different die stages.

Die crack, no Cuds involved.

Quote:Die crack, no Cuds involved Like I said, I pay no attention to errors, so I don't know the terminology.

Good find--seems worth saving in a 2x2 for protection.
