These appear to be old battle wounds there are four of them evenly spaced around the edge of the coin. The coin itself looks cammo under the light and the "E" in "e pluribus unum" is almost non-existent. Tell me what's going on here oh wise ones! Lol Thanks for your time.

Not a clipped planchet, it is PMD. Also, way too many photos and some are out of focus. Need to crop a bit better and rotate properly before posting. The better the photos you post the better we can help you.

If the devices/rim looks pushed, that is how you determine it was normal and now is altered. Nothing in the striking process will make that type of alteration by the dies. Just post strike damage causes this.

to the CCF and damage. If they were clips, there would be no buildup of metal.

This is a beat up cent, but the 4 on the rim looks like it was help by needle nose pliers and squeezed it a little.
