Anybody have any ideas about this coin. Brownish copper looking photo makes it look silver. Weight is light 5.23g Smooth edge.

Copious post-strike damage. Possible early stage Dryer Coin. An end-on photo of the rim might tell us more.

It definitely has the look of an acid damaged coin.

With the new pic, I'm going to stick with fire damage. Acid would have eaten away the middle copper layer.
