F15 Details, cleaned. Older cleaning. Reverse looks acceptable, but the obverse color is still off in the central devices.

since this is a common coin just curious why you would not pay a couple $$ more to get a straight graded one?

as a collector I would always want straight graded coins whenever possible. one of the main reasons is to see some increase in value over time. if you pay less than $20 for it, it might be worth it but I dont see it increasing in value much.

my recommendation...save up and buy the best you can.

I'm returning this one. BTW, appears to be an N-3. The die varieties are somewhat bewildering, but interesting nonetheless. Panzaldi, that's why I posted the 1848 pics in a different thread (small obverse scratches at 12) - looking at somewhat nicer examples (or trying to).
