vf 20 to 25 sharpness. Recolored. Looks like N-14 which is R-4- rarity

So how does R-4 play into the value of a coin like this that's been cleaned?

Might be worth a small premium to late date large cent collectors who are going for full year Newcomb sets, but otherwise, the effect on the value is not substantial.

Like many late date Large Cent varieties, the different die pairs are not always easy to distinguish with the naked eye, so many dealers and collectors who do not specialize in the series will not pay a premium for scarcities unless they are well-known.

i agree with VF details (cleaned/recolored)

a tell tale sign is the dull surfaces and the reverse color is just not natural. thats not how copper tones
