It was a pick, as the trail dies were not in the listing so keen eyes! Based on information on traildies.com, there is (was) only one known proof quarter with trails, a 2005 Minnesota reverse. Maybe the condition of the coin, maybe not knowing about trails for several years and just now becoming more mainstream, possibly different tools used by the mint workers?
