Came across a nice example of a BIE this evening. Between Stage 3 & 4. Big crack on the head and coat. This one also has a nice die chip on the reverse. http://cuds-on-coins.com/ldb4-1956-2/ "We are all flawed, some MD and some PMD." NYI

Greetings, what a nice find I sure have my share of these and Cuds-On-Coins is one of my favorite sites. I have to say that the BIE on your coin does not have the F+ characteristics that indicates full breaks that extend both above the highest level and below the lowest level of the letters. Your coin has a "F" indicates a break that is flush with the highest and the lowest levels of the letters. not sure if its the Photo quality but for the Spiked Head I see no definitive Die break to Rim. This may need more analyses with the coin in hand and Cuds open to both pages. https://cuds-on-coins.com/ldb4-1956-2/https://cuds-on-coins.com/hardy-index-system/ I know there are Die markers that match the description but some that are not mentioned as the Die chip on #5, Die crack on reverse "T"... well these can be exhausting to pinpoint correctly for I have spent hours on some that were not listed but determine to create their codex with the Hardy Index System.

Not sure on the attribution, but I do like the die chips along the letter T in CENT.

Die chips, yes. And, a rather nice cracked skull. Love those '56 wheat cents.

You're right. Looks more like the LDB4-1956-009C 4FL+.

hey like I said these are one of the most exhausting coin varieties to work with This is a nice example for sure and if you like them they can be collected fairly inexpediency by reputable sources like here. https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/shop/cat/8 but that category he has is always limited in selection.

Good find, that lower bust crack almost looks like a pre-cud. I didn't see any similar ones on CoC though and interestingly I see no Cuds at all listed for Philly 1956's.
