I think that this one is 'Slightly' over priced. American Silver Eagle.
PCGS Graded at MS-68 (with crappy pictures to view)

IMO, the ASE seller is hoping to find a buyer that puts a high premium on potentially attractive toning.

I looked at some ASEs on ebay that are his, first how can he have a 100% positive rating at over 8000? Many sales are nuts, like this, some seem like they might be ok, if the label is something someone wants. Crazy. He does seem to have the market cornered on lower grade ASEs, 66, 67, 68.

I don't believe the asking price has anything to do with the grade. It's all about the toning! Some folks pay a hefty premium for natural toning that they find attractive.

I agree the seller is selling the toning, not the grade or coin, but still - I think brown toning on an ASE is very unattractive.

While I am Unattached to the Bullion hunting portion of the American Silver Eagles Series, Toning I Agree, people desire what they Choose. Buy the Coin, NOT the Label......

I personally have NOT seen the,

"1 Lb Pound 1991 Silver Eagle Liberty United States Troy .999 Fine Silver Coin ". Before, John, YOU, ?
