So I've been searching a lot more $2 straps this month than $1 straps bc I've been having no luck with the $1's!! My luckiest find was this $2 note: 2013 $2 FA block 7 of a kind 4's!! My question is that since $2 notes only print out only one block per district, is this note considered more rare than the $1, $5, $10 and so on? The 2013 Atlanta district printed 44,800,000 notes. Please let me know, thanks and enjoy! Edited by luckyrollers 06/28/2023 2:43 pm

Yes, there is only one block so you wont have 7 in a rows for each other block as usual. Also there are 44800000 so all the others like 49999999 and above as can be normal dont exist either. In a seven-in-a-row serial number, seven digits in a row are all the same. Examples are 11111112 and 35555555. For each of the nine solid serial numbers, you can make 18 seven-in-a-row serial numbers: nine by changing the first digit and nine by changing the last digit. For example, the nine seven-in-a-row serial numbers you can make by changing the first digit of solid serial number 99999999 are 09999999, 19999999, 29999999, 39999999, 49999999, 59999999, 69999999, 79999999, and 89999999. You can also make 18 seven-in-a-row serial numbers by changing the first or last digit of the non-existent 00000000 serial number. So there are 180 seven-in-a-row notes, 1 in 555,556 normally http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/Ho...lNumbers.pdf

Just about anything fancy on a $2 note is worth more than anything on any other denomination. I believe that goes for errors too. For the last 50 years, the paper money collecting community has been in love with $2 notes. Ever since the Bicentennial printing of the first ever $2 FRNs, $2 notes have punched beyond their weight.

Nice find! Too bad it appears to have a center fold - or is that just the photo?
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

@Nickelsearcher - you are correct sir. there is a center fold but I'm ok with it. Just happy I found it in the wild.

Quote: At what price range would this note go for if I do sell it? I've typically seen these average between $125 - $200, sometimes more, especially if the number "8" is involved.

Nope, An uncut 16 note sheet of $1 FRN, one of them was all 9's except the last digit was a 6. Hope that helps.

Surprised after hearing that you are going to sell this. It means I can find this kind of notes and sell them to get some bigger amount. But the question is How can I find?

Yes you can potentially find currency that has a value higher than its face value, also coins such as varieties and errors can be found. Its not a get rich quick scheme, as it can take time to learn what to look for in some cases and takes time to look. Some might collect them and others might just sell them at a profit. Luckyrollers looks through entire straps that are not circulated from the bank. You have to first decide what you want to learn about, coins maybe a book like https://www.amazon.com/Strike-Rich-.../0593328604/For currency heres a few you might find as a beginner. http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/Fa...Numbers.aspxhttps://collectiblescurrency.com/bl...rial-numbers
