Got a 1943 S War Penny that is in pretty nice shape but has a few issues. Not sure what is going on with the date and mint mark and I think there may be a die crack on the reverse. Please see pictures and let me know what you all think. Thanks!

Die crack as a Die crack as we can see, but this coin was re-plated.

Incredible observations!
Thanks all.
How can you tell this was re-plated.
I bought this coin from a dealer a long time ago for my son who was into coin collecting at the time. Obviously, I was not told at that time that it was replated. They sold it to me as an original coin. I'd like to avoid buying replated coins in the future.
Thanks again,

Doesn't look re-plated to me. The surfaces look original.
Errers and Varietys.

The way the flow go show re-plating. Any normal plating go by the planchet flow. this coin show different angles from the low coin surface and the high relief. Second it is the plating pattern

The presence of flow lines and the appearance of luster suggest that the surfaces are original, not replated. Check the edge to see if it's dull steel—that would confirm that it's not reprocessed.

Quite a resemblance to WRPM-011. Filled in voids, the little bits sticking out under the S, the position relative to 94. Entry mentions a die crack from O through L in EPU, but frustratingly doesn't show it. No explanation of why the 4 is fouled up, there are other VV RPM with similar 4 damage but the MM position is quite wrong. https://doubleddie.com/914076.html

Need to see an edge view to determine if it is a re-plate. The weak 4 is common, check ebay. The mint mark I am not sure about, kinda looks like it took a hit? John1

Agree with Errers and Varietys, and not plated.

100% not plated. MM position no where close to WRPM-011.

Here is a close-up of the edge. Also, I agree that the mint mark is just like 1943-S 1¢ WRPM-011 So what is the verdict? Original? Any thoughts on value if it is?
