Ground find today, apologies for horrible images but I seek confirmation of this being a small S before tossing in the LWC cull bin. If I am wrong and it is a large S, I'll go thru conservation steps. Thanks, Happy 4th to All

From the shape, I would say large but in this coins condition, it only matters to you.

After looking at it again, I say small, so a double whammy. Sorry.

your images are great - the coin is horrible.
as for the 'S', it is either a large or a small one
With all the present corrosion, it is hard to tell, maybe an Acetone soak could clear things up a tiny bit.

I can't tell if it's a Large S or Small S. Maybe try an Acetone soak and Verdi-Care.

No need for sorry's. I'm in agreement however I always appreciate confirmations - especially with a variety like this that has little evidence to go on. Details look fairly strong under scope so I might see how far I can get thru conservation.
