1955 Half Penny - Planchet Flaw Or Struck Through? Your Opinions Please.

I'm in the process of listing this for sale on ebay but I'm in two minds as to whether the obverse side flaw is in the planchet pre-strike, or if it has been struck through with some object in the process. My original thought was a planchet flaw. (Yes I'm aware of the die crack through the Y). Your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.
