Nice album hole filler, but a common date with little numismatic premium.

Please edit your topic title to include the denomination cent.

Title fixed.

As to the coin, it is in amazing shape but I agree is going to be pretty much worth face value.

to the forum! Odds are, this is just a nice looking cent but there is a DDO and DDR for this year and the DDR is worth quite a bit. With these pics I cannot tell but maybe look at it closer to see if there may be doubling that looks like what's in the links I have provided.

Well at a minimum, it is worth one cent, possibly if sold on ebay might fetch $1.00 for somebody filling a hole in their album.

Agreed with the comments. It's a common dated LMC.

I agree with the other posters - it's a common date LMC that's in very good shape for being 56 years old. When I roll hunt, I keep most coins that look like this and either put them in rolls (especially nice ones) or toss them in a jar (for ones with blemishes). The way I see it, they cost only one cent and they're not going to get any more common. I guess I'm no longer a young numismatist, but I'm still in my twenties - how cool will it be in a few decades to have a jar of cents that have been out of production for years and are still shiny?
