Kinda looks like something(maybe gas) exploded this crater, if you look close you can see fissures.

Typically, woodys are related to copper coins but occasionally I will see what I still consider a woody in a different metal composition like this one. As for your package, my tracking is not working but not unusual for the Post Office now, they have not been on their A game for a couple of years....

Please let me know that you have received it though.

Agreed it's a lamination issue - common on silver War Nickels.
