Below you will find images to a 1925 Penny I recently obtained with a blank reverse and unusual specs: Weight: 1.76g Length: 1.76cm (yes, same weight and length) Width: Maybe 2 sheets of paper I'll defer to the group, but looks like it may have been minted in a dime planchet, but not sure, hence my engaging the group. It's essentially half the width of a regular 1925 and just over half the Weight. This is the 2nd of 3 wheat pennies the original owner had isolated from 20 lbs of wheat pennies. Thoughts? Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6504 Posts	Posted 07/16/2023 10:25 pm Half the width and mass would suggest that it's an acid coin. A weak acid will remove the metal slowly, shrinking all the devices. It will thin the thickness of the coin, too.
