As others have said, showing a coin with similar damage in a graded holder proves nothing but our points since the coin literally does not have any error attributed on the slab label.

Have a look at this. http://lincolncentsonline.com/pmd.html If you're so certain, please explain how this could happen in the minting process.

To the OP- How long have you been collecting?
Your images of the coin in the NGC holder don't show a closeup of the date and I can't see the 1 very clearly.

(BTW- I would say your screen name is spot on.)

I'm out.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I think it's time to move on, from this thread. OP just doesn't wanna listen to us. The OP doesn't believe us on it being damaged, even though it is. We've done all we could to help and he doesn't want to accept the truth. Time to lock this thread.

OP:

There's one way to settle this, you "claim" that PCGS disagrees with all of us, so send the coin to them and bring it back when it is in a PCGS holder identified as an error. Bet it doesn't happen!

I agree - the OP is living in their own fantasy world of make believe and throwing insults at true experts. Time to move on.
