Hello CCF

This 1884 cent has a die rotation around 10% as seen in the pictures when flipped over carefully. Not sure if there is a rim Cud or something else. The coin impression East to West is vastly different in strike depth. Would that also be an error? I'd love opinions on this one and what it could be worth with its errors. I will sell it eventually.

If my terminology is wrong, please let me know.

Thanks!

Shuddle10

A pic of the coin set in front of a mirror might help us better visualize the rotation. Thanks.

There is no Cud. The mint has a tolerance of within 15 degrees rotation, so even if a coin is rotated 15 degrees, it is not collectible and not an error. The exception might be on silver dollars - 15 degrees on those still gets a premium. But the amount of rotation on yours doesn't add any value. Note that I specialize in rotated Indian cents! I have 30 different dates with rotations between 90 and 180 degrees. I don't collect them unless they are rotated at least 90 degrees. Well, except the 1867 I have that is rotated 55 degrees. In 35 years of collecting rotated Indians, I've never seen another rotated 1867
