It's Nabatean, I believe. The script runs in two lines, vertically, on wither side of the standing figure, but the alphabet is Semitic, rather than Greek or Latin.
With the Wildwinds website still out of action, I haven't been able to find an exact match for your coin. If it's not Nabataean, it might be from Carthage or Spain.

It is now years later and while it may not help the OP to provide them with an identification of this coin now, it still could be a fun exercise. Any thoughts?
