*** Edited by Staff to Add Year to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

I took this picture with my iPhone no Photoshopping of it. You will probably have to magnify it, but the eyes look real. They look like green eyes. It is really cool. They look different went not magnified, too. What does anyone else think?

Interesting take on this. For me they look normal - maybe it is my monitor.
But these are not gold coins but a copper cladded coin.
here is the compsition:
Cladding: 77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese,
4% nickel, Core: 100% copper

@shy, sorry but I'm not seeing anything unusual either. For reference, here is a link to the coin on numista with additional information and a picture to help you make the comparison.

It looks like a chip under each eye. so it really shines when not looking at it close up. see the white spots under each eye? and the example that someone posted of another presidential coin eyes look the same except if you compare them, the eye on the other coin are clearly gold from the coin. They eye on this coin look green. It's a 2011 Presidential dollar. Looks like a different composition than the other Presidential dollars. more shinny and more yellow. like not made of copper.

Can you post a full pic of the front, right side up? There are some strange coppery smears across his forehead, but it's hard to see in that image.

My old iPhone takes better pictures than my new iPhone. That is as close as I could get it without it becoming blurry. I think the smear might have been the lighting. If I look at the quarter it looks a little shaded right there, but it is really hard to tell. Need a better camera. I clicked on the link someone sent for suggestions to camera. I might have purchased the wrong one. There were several that came up when I clicked the link the one I got. My iPhone worked better. So I sent it back. I still need on, but it will have to wait, unfortunately. Looking for DD on the text. Need a real good camera.

My iPad takes nice coin pictures from 6-8" away. You can't get closer because it is unable to autofocus. Set the picture type to square. Let it focus correctly from further away, then push your fingers apart to digitally zoom on just the coin. Straight down makes for the best picture.

Also worth mentioning: I use the free Image Size app to resize the square pictures to 800x800 so they can be uploaded to the forum under the 300kB file size limit.
