Nothing too special here... but I do like them all! (maybe some a bit more than others.)

I think I will go in chronological order.

first off:

1809 Half Cent. Was marked as 9 over inverted 9 variety (but I have no idea)

nowhere NEAR as much... too bad someone cleaned it once upon a time. In a PCGS "genuine" slab. I still liked it a lot for $40. (bad deal?)

I think that 1891 quarter is absolutely beautiful, cleaned or not, so what. The strike and detail are wonderful and it has that caught your eye appeal galore. $40.00 slabbed genuine PCGS too. Holy cow, I'll take a dozen. Nice coins!

Wheezy... I couldn't have said it better myself. Looking at that coin makes me happy and at the end of the day, that's the real point of what we do!

I didn't realize $40 was that good of a deal but now that I think about it.. slabbing fees must at least approach $40, right?

All nice, but the 1891 at $40 is a good buy. It has XF-40 or better details in MHO and nice eye appeal.

Yeah, I'd call the 1891 a good buy at $40.

Of the bunch, though, I like the 1877CC the best. Seated stuff doesn't appeal to me between F-VF; I like the eagle's wing details to show. When they get really worn, though, the silhouettes are as nice as any design the Mint has ever issued.
