The 1949 shows how they make and roll out the stock to the right thickness.
The penny video, shows you how easy it is for a lot of the coins to get struck by other coins from the mint. Some mistake as errors due to coin hits moving/displacing devices on the the design of the coins.

Thanks Dearborn. I thought it was informative.
I'm impressed they use 35-100 tons of pressure to strike these coins. That is a massive amount, on a small space.

I have more videos but no one keep. Yes 35 tone was Dimes, 40 to 45 Cents, I think the Nickel was 60, Quarters sure 80 to 85 and also the Dollar, then you go in the Proof category.

What you show was the first version of the Shuler presses ( 750 strikes a min) starting in 1994 now they are at the version 2 and 2.5 at 850 strikes a min.
