Two 2009 dimes. Nice! I haven't found any 2009 cents dimes or nickels around central PA.
I was in Harrisburg on Friday and there were several armored cars around but I thought I might get shot if I approached one.

Nada on 2009 ANY coins here in Arkansas/Missouri/Oklahoma border area. In $150 or so in nickels, I've got about a roll of 2008D, but have yet to find a 2000P......not a one!

Hard to say.......they'll let just about ANYBODY be an armored truck person. I got "bumped into" LITERALLY while at the ATM one time ! He hit my back bumper on my truck ! I looked in the mirror and it turned out to be a guy who worked for us for about a year..... I'll be as nice as I can here.......but..... THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE ALLOWED THIS GUY TO CARRY A GUN ! Ha Ha LoL !
So......they WILL let ANYBODY have this job ! I was not comforted by this notion at the time.......heck......it STILL bothers me!

Dude, I would so sell those 2009 dimes on ebay right now. They are going for mad amounts of money. Sell the dimes and buy two mints sets with the money.

1 over the weekend sold for like $32 shipped. A nickel is going for over $50. I seriously thinking of roll searching for 2009 coins vs the silver.

I can't understand why these coins are going for huge amounts of money. Its a matter of patience, thats why I haven't bought any of the new lincoln cents yet. These coins will be available in the future, and in circulation. There were tens of millions of 2009 nickles and dimes minted. They are not going to be a scarcity in the future.

What DNA's found in his change so far in 2009:

Almost 100 Wheat Cents
Over two dozen 2009-D Log Cabin Cents
Two wartime Nickels, over a dozen pre-1960 Nickels
(and a 1938-D Buffalo nickel in a mixed roll!)
Several 90% silver Roosevelt dimes
Several 2009-D District of Columbia Quarters
2009-D Puerto Rico Quarter
2009-D Native American dollar
11 2009-D Harrison Dollars

...but NO 2009 Nickels or Dimes.

That should tell you something about why the '09 5/10¢ coins are going for 'massive money' on ebay right now!

Sorry, but I have been out of the coin collecting loop for a few months. So whats the story with the 2009 Nickels and Dimes? Is there a mintage number published for these yet? I do not see any Denver mint Nickels on ebay for sale but the Philly mints are selling for mucho bucks

You can get the 2009 P dimes for a buck, and the 2009 P nickels fairly easy for under $5.00 at this point shipped. Rolls are selling for under 100.00 which is $2.50 each.
Have not seen a D nickel listed anywhere yet.
I don't own either ... yet
Too high!

the Nickel's and Dimes of 09 are the lowest mintage so far. none of the banks are ordering them . if you got some you may want to get rid of them before the hype wears off.. you never know just when you think you have something the mint will go ahead and overload the economy with them then all them guys that paid 30-40 for a dime or nickel will wish they waited. not making fun of them but that has been my experiences in the great hobby
