What doesn't appear to be acceptable? I have a collection of Cap & Rays that have documented explanations of them that explain what is not right. I had input from a couple well regarded known experts here on this forum as well as authoritive books for mine. Look for better info from those sources, I yield to those that know better than I do for these coins. Report this Post to the Staff

Seek out an XRF machine and have those dark patches targeted with an XRF beam. Even at 27.0 grams sometimes Pb is added to bring the weight to regal. JPL Report this Post to the Staff
