Can I ask about this penny? It looks different than some of my others. Is there a good way to tell the double dies? I inherited stamps as well and thought this would be easier to see whats what. I'm quickly figuring out that is not the case.

Not seeing a DDO on the 1957 D. The only thing I see is Die Chips, which is common on the 1950's Wheat Cents.

@coin, first welcome to CCF. Second, best practice is to start a new thread for each new coin so I have split your thread in half. You'll notice I've also added information about the coins to the title of your threads. That helps with the CCF search functionality. I look forward to seeing more coins collected and passed down by your mom.

I see a normal circulated 1957-D cent. Where do you see the area of interest?

A photo of the reverse would be very welcome. With the single pic posted, I'm seeing a die chip in the 9, and one in the B (LIBERTY). Circulation wear and damage is mixed in.
