nice hair detail which can be a challenge to get. the hair tie is well defined and the drape looks really nice. I'm torn on this one as the obv looks XF40 and the reverse VF35. I think the reverse will hold it to VF35 though. albeit a nice one

I'll say EF-45, not particularly a fan.

It's a nice-looking Cohen 1 (C-1), Rarity-1. The give-away is that it's the only stemless variety in 1906.

I'm surprised that NGC didn't detail it for the nasty scratches behind the head on the obverse. Other than that I like it and the scratches aren't glaringly bad unless your really looking right at them. Kanga already attributed this correctly. I thought I'd show a page from my favorite little Half Cent book I use at coin shows and why it is so useful... Gregory S. Heim's "A Quickfinder for Attributing Varieties of Business Strike Half Cents 1793-1857 (2nd Edition) Follow along using this coin, don't really even need the photos in the quickfinder, it make attributing these so easy and fast, this little book will pay for itself. The book is spiral bound and small in size - a bit larger than the Top 100 VAM book, about twice the size making it still small enough to slip into a briefcase or folio and hardly notice it.

@westcoin - that does appear to be a quick attribution guide. Thanks for sharing it with us.
