A humble specimen, relatively common for the series, and more easily affordable. Still happy to have it:

I will take a stab, but I am not great at grading these. G(06) details, damage. Don't know which variety it is--there are experts on this forum will be able to place it, though :).

As mentioned with your 79 1/4... I would have a hoot walking the the coin show floor with you and having wispered converstions of how and why... Thanks for the smiles! smat

I'll say G-6 with a shot at 8.

The obverse should carry it to G6.

It is an S-78, R-1, plain edge.
I grade her G4, possibly AG3. Please note that I tend to grade by EAC standards which will always be more conservative than PCGS or NGC.

I'll say G-04 straight, just a stab.

TPGs are usually pretty forgiving on nicks & shallow digs for very early copper. Scratches need to be pretty long & deep before they detail the coin.

I wonder if it is net graded a little bit because of the surface. The details look a little better than G(4) to me.

yes they are a little more lenient on these early coppers but there are some fairly heavy and numerous digs on this coin. I'm betting they netted it rather than details it. obv G6 rev G4
