I'm trying to get information on this two tone mix error. Proper specifications would also be appreciated. I have a Decent coin collection and a small stamp collection. I have been hesitant about trying to sell some of my error coins or my rare coins. Finding the honest Value on anything these days, is to darn difficult. So please, I maybe a newbie but I am not Naive. Any info on best places to auction items would also mean alot. I'm hoping this coin is my blessing, I Def need. 2014 two tone, tyedye, Quarter. RARE! Worth, and input please. Keep it Real. Thanks D'niceWolf *** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

First and foremost welcome.... unfortunately your coin appears to have staining, worth face value.

That is a pretty mottled surface on this quarter--it might have spent time in a car's cupholder at one point. With that said, I agree with @coin that the surface staining doesn't add to the numismatic value.

To CCF! Just a normal, circulated stained Quarter. PMD. It's worth face value.

to the CCF and Stained. Stick around here. This is a great site to learn. At least you're doing it right. Figuring out what you have before putting it up on ebay, like a lot of people do.

Lol- well that's embarrassing. I tried cleaning it off and couldn't get it to improve at all. O well. Still looks pretty cool. I'm gonna post my Indian head collection I'm trying to sell soon. Also- I've saved up eighty 1982 pennys I gotta weigh. Only 5 are small data. Wish me luck. #128536;Thankyou everybody for your replys and kindness. I think I'm gonna enjoy this community.

The next thing to learn is, don't under any circumstance "clean" any coins. Leave that to a professional conserver. You can destroy the value of the coin. The only accepted thing to do to a coin is soak in acetone or water. A cleaned coin will always be a cleaned coin.
