Two more in my collection. The first is a very worn coin. I can only guess that my Father-in-law (coin purchaser) didn't know what he was buying. I know I would have passed up on it and I'm a newbie. I wish I had a scale so I can determine just how much of the coin disappeared. I've no idea what caused the dark circle on the reverse.

The 2nd coin was rated 'Fine' by Littleton. A lot of the high points are worn down.

I like the look of a well worn silver dollar. Nice pair!

The upper one looks VG-8 and the lower F-15 to me. Nice circulated coins.

Slanted Arrow Feathers. Not sure how relevant it is to all Morgan's. The Forum keeps changing the letter case on me. I submit that portion of the title with all caps.

Yes, the software is designed to make topic title capitalization somewhat consistent, but there are still some initialisms that will get messed up. I believe it is better than before, because way too many people do not know how to use capital letters correctly.

That being said, I modified the title to make it clear. When it doubt, spell it out.

I don't collect Morgans but doesn't "slanted arrow feather" apply to everything that isn't the reverse of 1878, which has the parallel top arrow feather? So specifying it for an 1889-O is superfluous, correct? Just want to clarify my understanding of terminology.

Can't argue with the Littleton grade.
