1971 S Lincolin Memorial Cent - Coin Community Forum

allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 08/27/2023 3:30 pm I have a 1971 S Lincoln Cent which shows south doubling on the date and mintmark! The problem I am having is I searched the web for identical DDO's but found nothing that match what I am seeing on my coin! The LMC I have is beat up due to circulation so it's ragged. I took pictures of the script elements of the obverse to see if anyone could recognize it. I am beginning to believe it is Die Deterioration, so let me know your thoughts and regards!
