Quote:I knew you would appreciate this one even though it's just a simple proof ASE It is pretty cool when you think about it. 2026P, 1995W. Big deal, just a mint mark.

Last discussed , The 2026 Congratulations set , Philly minted ASE was supposed to have a mintage of 60,000. Last discussed, We heard Thanks to members the Mint's mintage was dropped to 39, 165, The mint's stated they reserve the right to " mint to full mintage ". Does any one know if the mints made up the approximate 20, 000 difference in the sets, or ?

People will absolutely say I'm full of crap, but sometimes the mintage isn't absolutely controlled by how many coins they can make!

My search came up with this...
"The U.S. Secretary of the Treasury determines the maximum number of bullion coins the U.S. Mint produces, authorized by Congress. Production numbers are largely based on investor demand to meet market needs, with the Secretary setting maximum mintage levels for specific designs, such as American Eagle and Buffalo coins."

So if they are done making Congrats sets, this is #3 prediction after 19S ERP and the 95W right?

So they only minted 39K of the 60K they had advertised? Very frustrating. As a buyer of all these silver eagles directly from the mint for over 30 years I was in the system waiting at open time and they kicked me out as product unavailable. I'm even more ticked of now that Morgans dad has stated the actual mintage.

To Gilly's point, I am seeing that IF the U S Mints do Not make More 2026 Congratulations sets, and the mintage stays at 39, 195. We would then have a New Number 3, Lowest mintage American Silver Eagle, The Number One Should be the 2019- S ERP @ 29,909..... The number Two is the 1995-W Proof @ 30,102...... The number Three is the 2026-P Congratulations set resident @ 39,195...... The number Four would then be the 2008- W-Rev of 2007 @ 47,000..... The differences between the top Two contenders is minuscule, 193 ?So much so People are divided over the First Two Positions, If the numbers I posted above are correct, Facts Matter, ...... ......

I just spoke to someone that from a company that can buy direct from the mint for re-sale and they said mint is not done with these because he was notified he could get a second allocation.

And if you don't want to include uncirculated coins or error varieties, #4 should be the 2020 V75 at 74574 (last I checked). Quote:
The number Three is the 2026-P Congratulations set resident @ 39,195......
Really glad I set up a subscription, had no idea until now they stopped selling them (for now).
