Found this NZ mule 10c recently whilst noodling Aussie 10 cent coins.

Pity about the spot of verdigris.

The NZ dollar coin is smaller than the 10 cent coin so unlike the 2000 Australian $1/10c mule, the Kiwi mule features the 10c reverse and the $1 obverse struck on a 10 cent planchette.

Obverse of normal 10 cent on left and mule on right (with distinctive "double rim")

That's a great find MMM. Well done.
Are you tempted to treat the verdigris?
edit: actually on my PC screen it looks more like the colour of PVC chlorine attack.

Very easy to spot for a seasoned "mule hunter"

Don't want to do any more harm. Then again I don't want it to spread.

I'd have to try out any verdigris treatment techniques on less important coins first.

PVC chlorine attack usually wipes of with a bit of effort. This doesn't.
