I have a 1$ 2017 banknote that has the serial numbers B18276005B. To me it's marks June 5th, 1827...the day abd year he was born. It also marks the date the Athens fell to the Ottermans. It also marks the year slavery was abolished along with other factors or events that happened that year in history. Would love any positive feedbacks or questions regarding this note. Thank you. Your date format is wrong. It should be 06 not 60. It's worth pretty much face.

Yes. It's a 1$ 2017 US currency.
Although it still has the month and year. Finding serials that has 18270605 would be a huge challenge even for highly experienced collectors. A date can be valued like 6/5/1827 or 06/05/1827. I'm looking at it as 6/5/1827. Either one is except able when it comes to dates.

Quote: I'm looking at it as 6/5/1827 You can look at it anyway you want but it is not accurate. The date you have is 60 not 06. Close but not a real date.

If you like it and it means something to you is really the only thing that matters. To each his own.

Of course, but it's simply not in a date format. Even it the 60 was 06, it's still not in a generally accepted date format (mo, day, yr).

Interesting Coinflip. With respect to everybody's opinion and want to encourage people to collect anything that may be collectible to them. The American format for dates is [MM/DD/YYYY] so a serial number of 09071982 would represent the date of September 7th, 1982. Internationally the format is [YYYY/MM/DD] like 20220514, All 8 digits MUST be used to make up a true Birthday or Anniversary note. 18270605 would quality there just fyi. However on ebay for example sellers can say whatever they want. Look carefully at the serial number BEFORE buying. Its fine that some sellers will take any similar format and attempt to sell it, or some casual collectors may buy variations simply because it may be hard to ever come across whatever date they are looking for. Obviously some dates may have meaning to more than just a persons birthday or anniversary such as an event. Variations like 0021996, 00421996, 02040096 or 00429600 would not be examples.normally unless again someone wanted it for personal reasons but not value to others. It seems some people may just like dates like 1776 on them anywhere, so there is no 100% set rule other than what may be considered of value to others and therefore worth more than the amount shown on the currency. Older notes that have value from the note also makes finding a special date note even more desirable on top.

@datadragon I totally agree with your opinion. What's could be valuable to one may not be to others. But a cool thing I did with thus serial number was summed it down. It comes to 9/11. You can count the 1+8=9 or 7+2=9 or 1+8+7+2=18 1+8=9. Then you have the 5 and 6. 5+6=11. 9/11. Thought it was pretty cool it came out to that date. Thanks for your feedback.
