1928 Peace Silver Dollar PCGS PO-1 Lowball

But Low Ball collectors run the opposite way: the lowest grades possible. Hitting PCGS PO01 is quite tough; the coin needs excessive wear, but just enough detail to identify it. I always worry about that (not that I'm really a lowball collector). But, I'd rather have a Lowball with a mint Mark for confirmation, than one without for this very reason. In 2016 my lowball Peace dollar set was awarded a PCGS plaque for best registry set. You can still find the retired Peace lowball set as the current #3 all time registry set at the PCGS site. I also had PCGS certified sets of Seated halves, Barber halves and Walking Liberty halves. All award winning sets. It's a lot harder to find a true certifiable lowball than you think.
