Quote: Look very closely . Me thinks the grading service missed the S mint mark ? I always worry about that (not that I'm really a lowball collector). But, I'd rather have a Lowball with a mint Mark for confirmation, than one without for this very reason. First thing I did was check date and mm area...but being so worn I wouldn't spend big bucks on it.

Circulated Morgan and Peace dollars are fantastic. I had been buying them up because I love them right before silver surged. Good timing. Suddenly they are as valuable as low mint state examples.

There was a time, about a decade ago, where I was a committed lowball collector. In 2016 my lowball Peace dollar set was awarded a PCGS plaque for best registry set. You can still find the retired Peace lowball set as the current #3 all time registry set at the PCGS site. I also had PCGS certified sets of Seated halves, Barber halves and Walking Liberty halves. All award winning sets. It's a lot harder to find a true certifiable lowball than you think. I've since divested them all. Quote: My lowest is a PCGS AG-03 Ike sent to me by nickelsearcher. That was a fun raw find during my active searching days. I seem to recall it was a Bicentennial Ike. I'm pleased you still enjoy it.
