You should always post full obverse and reverse pics with the close up pics as well:). It is late or early depending, so I would work on getting those pics asap. There is way too much glare,so you need to filter your light.At this point,it looks like DDD and light induced doubling to me. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

rmpsrpms Pillar of the Community United States 4036 Posts	Posted 09/14/2023 12:14 pm Yes, better pics would help to identify the cause, but it certainly does appear to have doubling of some type(s). The problem I see is that the date appears to have MDD, with second "strike" causing damage to the East, but the mintmark is showing doubling to the NW. The "9" may also be showing the same doubling to the NW. A very interesting coin.
