I've got some ASE's from Littleton. I'm getting ready to transfer them from the Littleton packaging to slabs for better protection. Package says minted at U.S. Mint. Is this a reference to West Point?

BTW should I give the coins a quick acetone bath before putting them in the slab?

You don't need pictures.
If they are bullion ( no mint mark) they were most likely made at Philadelphia.

There were a few minted at West Point and San Francisco but unless you have the monster box with the serial number there is no way to tell them apart. So assume Philadelphia.

Proofs and Burnished have mint marks on the reverse.
If you see a W on the observe that's Weinmans initials which only appear on Type 2 ASE (2021+)

It shouldn't hurt it, but these are just bullion coins, they don't have any extra premium other than spot plus x (between $6-10)

No real reason to remove from the package they are in. You might actually get more on ebay selling them in the Littleton package rather than in a slab you get from Amazon.

Yup. I've got about 30 various coins that Dad bought from Littleton. He may have gotten onto their member role where they ship you coins for keeping or return.

"U.S. Mint" = a United States Mint, it does not mean any particular mint
as stated above the mint mark, or lack thereof indicates a specific mint location
