Guys, I found another 2023 P Washington quarter that has a similar die crack as before, however, the obverse has another feature on the rim. Would this be classified as a rim Cud? The feature is incused.

Maybe a rolled over Rim Fin? I'm not sure though—this looks oddly straight sided.

A Cud would not be incused, it would be raised.

Cujohn: Sir it was my thinking that incused was a protrusion which this feature is. I see that I am and was mistaken.

If it is incuse - then it is not a Cud. maybe it was hit by a straight edge of something..

Guys, I am sorry for all of the confusion, I should have sent this picture with the originals at the beginning. I hope this clear up all confusion. Thanks for your time, Bill.

No worries, now you know. It should be a rim Cud. Being its a 23 may not be listed yet.

What it is the side of the coin on what ?!!!!! is say I'm Cud?. Me for the moment I see the reeds. The new coins Mint Dies do not survive (average) more then 30 to 40 min. Mint denomination in 95% for changing a Die it is OUT of DESIGN, which mean missing part of the Die or major Die Crack. If you coin show rised, as per second pic, mean is missing part of the Die, which never will be just 1 micron or 2 surface. This mea the fracture of the metal is deeper (+ or -). Side view of the reeds will elucidate the enigma. For me Cuds site state something, do not mean it is the concrete ciment buried conclusion. I hope Mike see this coin and analysed. PLS a reeds view can elucidate also others controversies on the recent coins.
