Hello hunters!

Pulled this out of a bank roll. I know there's a bunch of coins that get damaged by the reeding edge of another coin. But I've never seen one so deep or long. Usually you can make out 2-4 little edges from when another coins edge came in contact with the face of another coin. Any information is greatly appreciated!

This looks like post-mint damage ( PMD). It appears that somehow another half was rolled on this coin with enough force to cause reeding impressions across it.

Yes that is mechanical damage but I agree that it doesn't look like a normal bag mark.

Agree, this is PMD. A full pic with less flashback would help.

Take another half and roll it on those marks, I bet the reeds match up.

It looks like a bump on the reverse under the HALL. lines up with the obverse. That would take a very hard hit, maybe someone took another half and hammered the edge into the coin.
