Here are the pictures of the 2011 D nickel as I posted yesterday. Yes, I'm a newbie to this, I started collecting coins during the pandemic in 2020 I noticed I was getting a lot of wheat pennies back as change. Thanks, for everyone's time

Sanded down, it is just a damaged coin now.

Don't despair! Error coins remain ready to find from circulation, but they are outnumbered by unusual looking coins that merely have been damaged. If you can imagine a way to change an undamaged coin into one like you see, that's probably exactly what happened to it. Changes to a coin after it leaves the mint's striking chamber are considered post mint damage, or PMD, and have no premium value.

Thanks for your responses, I also have a7a1900 Indian Head penny 2 buffalo head nickels 1943 steel penny wheat pennies from 1923 all up to a 1958. But thank you you again for clearing this up. Have a goodnight

If it is sanded down, it should weigh considerably less and be much thinner, - a picture of the edge should confirm.
