I came across this yesterday while CRH. It appears to be a nice, clean die break on the left bottom corner of the memorial. A closer look shows a smaller crack running from the base to the rim. After checking Cuds on Coins I was unable to find anything similar.

Hmm that doesn't look like a die crack to me--maybe a strike through instead?

Looks more like a small "Struck Through" error.

It could well be a strike through. It seems unusually clean for a die break, but that was the first thing that came to mind.

Here a closer image. It appears to be incused, but only slightly. To me it looks more like a break in this picture, but I honestly don't know.

If it's incused, It's not a crack.

Is that fine (very, very subtle) linear feature running from the corner of the memorial to the rim a die crack? Check photos 3 and 4.

Funny, That is what I was looking at first, I didn't see the huge 'dent' in the memorial.
So, yes on the die crack from the rim to memorial, and a possible strike through on the memorial itself.
