hello everyone it's been a while but I'm back looking for a possible explanation for this one. What I have is a 2016 Lincoln Shield cent that for some odd reason doesn't seem to be standard size .it appears to be almost twice as thick as a regular penny and seems to also not as big around as a normal penny. I do not know if any other countries use the zinc copper combination but this one is odd thanks for looking

This is a Dryer Coin.
But please be sure to crop your images properly. We don't need to see the background the coin is on.

Could be either spooned or a Dryer Coin, but the lack of dimples on the edge makes me think that a Dryer Coin is more likely. In the end, it is all mechanical damage though.

Thanks everyone but I'm thinking not a Dryer Coin.it seems to me a Dryer Coin gets pretty beat up and there dosent seem to be any evidence of damage around the edge like it had been tumbling in a dryer.not sure what a spooned coin is I imagine it has something to do with banging on the edge with a spoon for whatever reason so how does all this explain the thickness and the clean edge ? The only place I really see damage is the raised part of the edge being worn down to the zinc I figured was because of the thickness .iv seen Dryer Coins and they are usually beat up from the edges to the field images and this dosent seem to be like that ,and a dryer dosent usually make the coin uniformly thicker again thanks for looking
