The ad said it was off-center but it seems like all the details are there. The planchet seems a little larger than normal, like it expanded when the dies came together. I'm just not 100% certain either way and I'd like some additional opinions.

Looks broadstruck, but are there reeds on the edge?

No, the edge is completely smooth. It's not even double-layered like a dime should be.

This is the best I could do as far as sharper images. I also included a picture of the edge. It is double-layered after all, but there is only a small amount of reeding.

If necessary, II can try to get a hold of my friend's iPhone to see if I can get better images tomorrow.

Nice find however, try not to use metal tweezers on your coins, it will scratch them and bring the value down.

What does the absence of reeding on the edge mean? I weighed this, and it's 2.29 grams which is appropriate for a dime.

The absence of reeding means it was struck out of collar. That's called a Broadstrike. It's an Uncentered Broadstrike. https://www.error-ref.com/broadstrike-uncentered/

nice off center broad strike dime.
Please don't use anything metal to hold on to coins - especially coins that can have an increased value (like this one) you can destroy any inherent value by doing so.

with @Dearborn and @oddguy, don't use any metal to hold the coin.
