I found this in my change and I'm super stoked. I'm pretty sure it's legit but I'm not an expert by any means. Can you all please help me access it. Thanks so big!!

@apri, first welcome to CCF. Second, I too am skeptical, mainly based on not seeing any Blakesley effect and the ground appearance of the edge at the purported clip. Can you please add one more picture showing the entire reverse? Thx.

The letters do not flow into the clip.
Edge grain going wrong way.
No Smith effect.

I regret to say I do not believe it was done at the mint. Look at the build up of material between cut and letters and also the statements above.

The scratchy uneven grooves indicates the edge was cut away manually , not a mint error.

to the CCF As oddguy pointed out, there is a buildup of metal on the surface of the coin at the cut. The edge has been ground off. The lines left are going the wrong way to be a punched out blank.
